1. What basic guidelines or tips can be use in determining as to which of the two charts will prevail and manifest–D9 vs. D60?
I assume that the D9 chart may not filter all of D60, or perhaps there are cases when the D60 or some of its houses may overshadow the D9 and the D1 rasi.

In my case for example, lets look at my 10th house in the rasi.
D1: mithuna. Empty. Ruler is mercury exalted in virgo lagna conjunct mars. Bhadramahapurusha yoga tainted by mars which rules the 8th and 10th (AL in 10).
D9: Mercury in Aries lagna conjunct Rahu with Sun and ketu in the 7th house. Shani is in the 10th in Makara, vakri or retrograde but vargottama with my rasi’s Saturn in the 5th conjunct Jupiter ( badhaka)– both are retrograde.
D60: Its moon and sun in the 10th in Pisces–an eclipse which Guruji says dooms the house or varga. Lagna is Mithuna with Venus. Pls nite that ruler of lagna is mercury in the 2nd conjunct ketu.

Which one, i wonder will prevail? Just an example to start with.

Or another one:
D1: kanya lagna. Venus is in the 11th H of karka conjunct dark moon ( bout 28 degrees plus). 14th tithi. venus rules 2nd and 11th houses of wealth.
D9: aries /mesha lagna. Venus in 9th house in sagittarius.
D60: Gemini lagna. Venus in lagna. Dispositor of Gemini is Mercury in 2nd house with Ketu.

Considering D9 acts as a filter, how do we interpret this using D1, D9 and D60?

I understand that 4 or 5 houses consecutively lined up with planets is some form of a garland yoga- something like graha malika but i think that is not the term.

I have in my navamsha:

Aries lagna.
9th house: venus in dhanus.
10th H: saturn in Makara, vakri. Vargottama with D1 innthe 5th conjunct Guru or Jupiter.
11thH: Jupiter vakri/retrograde in Khumba.
12th H: Atmakaraka moon in Pisces or Meena.
Lagna:
1st house/lagna: Mercury in Aries or Mesha.

Would appreciate it if Guruji may enlighten me about these garland of 5 houses(9th to lagna) in my D9 please.

I was wondering if it would be alright for Guruji to give usan idea how each graha gives its result in the 7th and 9th house of D9 please.

The reason for the question: Guruji gave a short description of effects in the 4th house of the different grahas in D4. I thought that Mars in D4 in the 4th house was good for properties coz mars rules land and we are talking of the 4th house of properties in D4.

But upon seeing Guruji’s description- its not. Conflicts, difficulties in childhood, etc are indicated.

So, I was thinking- if Guruji may just give us in passing the effects of each graha – how they will affect life in the 7th and 9th houses of D9. It will surely enlighten us deeply and help us avoid wrong interpretations.

Planets in MKS
Some conceptual doubts regarding planets in MKS
1. Remedies for planets in Marana Karaka Sthana (MKS).
(a) The remedy for MKS taught was that the karaka of the bhava is to be worshipped. Ex for MKS Venus, Saturn (Karaka of 6H) is to be worshipped, for MKS Mars, Venus is to be worshipped.
(b) It was also discussed that if any of the Satva planets (Sun, Moon and Jupiter) are in MKS in Varga charts then the other satva planets are to be worshipped because the satva guna are very important as they indicate the life forces and therefore other satva guna planets are to be strengthened.
(c) So my doubt is if Sun is in MKS in Varga chart then is Moon/Jupiter is to be worshipped or Saturn (Karaka of 12H) is to be worshipped?

2. MKS of Jupiter in D-9 chart of Thakur Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
(a) IN the D-9 chart of Thakur Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Jupiter is retrograde is in MKS in 3H (Kumbha).
(b) This would indicate that one of the house i.e Lagna or 4th house will be affected. But 4H shows the heart of the person, so that cannot be impure for the saint. So then is lagna house impure. Can you please guide me on interpretation of this principle. Or is there any other combinations by which that MKS is getting cancelled?
(c) Also it was also said that any planets conjoining MKS planet also gets destroyed. (Example case of Gordon Brown where Sun (7L of D-9) had conjoined MKS Moon. So in Thakur Ramakrishna’s chart Mercury and Saturn has joined that MKS Jupiter. Can you please tell me how to interpret this.

When we map planets to D1 from D9 for amsa Tulya rasi. It may show certain planetary influence coming on the individual because of the marriage. But how do we understand amsa Tulya rasi effects in terms of 2nd marriage.
